Niti Desai, the Consultant Nutritionist, says protein deficiency frequently results in an early onslaught of sarcopenia, or more plainly, the loss of skeletal and muscular tissues and strength due to aging.

According to Desai, the recommended daily allowance (RDA) for protein for Indians is 1 gm per kg of body weight.
“An individual weighing 60 kg would require 60 gm of protein daily. Vegetarians have constrained options for protein-wealthy meals like soya, cereals, and pulses. Since expanded soy intake has a negative reputation in our country and has arguably health implications, milk protein can be an essential supply of first-rate protein while one is attempting to grow protein consumption,” she introduced.
Shivoham, a Fitness Trainer and Brand Ambassador at Avatar Whey Protein, a product of Parag Milk Foods, shared insights on how milk protein has two components: whey and casein.
“Whey protein has the advantage of being absorbed quicker in the body and may complement and increase protein synthesis. The golden window wherein protein consumption is most beneficial is forty-five minutes after exercising, as our bodies take in protein the fastest.
